I used to have a bad life style. I used to have a bad diet that contained much sugar and fast food. But that until two years ago when I got rejected from a boy because he thpught I was fat. Well, actually I did. I was 1.65 meters and 68 kg which wasn't healthy for a 16 year old girl. And that's when I said to myself "you know what? You can do better than that. And i actually did. I started going to the gym and eating healthier. But I didn't really lose so much wight. By the end of the summer (aka 3 months later) I was 65 kg. But then I became more passionate. Now,it wasn't about that boy. It was about me. I wanted to be healthy, happy,to have confidence and smile. Because I didn't really have confidence. And I still don't have but I'm in a better place than this time of my life.

After one year of healthy diet and exercise I weightea 54 kg. And now,I have achieved not to regain this whole weight although I am 56 kg as I had to guit gym this winter because of lack of time. But now,I started again. Anyways,I'm here to share with you tips, tricks, advice etc on how to become a better person inside and out. And this post is about to share with you some of my main advice for a healthier diet. I'm not a nutrionist,I'm not a doctor but I read magazines and books and search for information online so I can offer you right and helpful advice that also have helped me to lose the extra weight. The last thing I want to tell you is that english isn't my first language so excuse me for any mistakes. Anyways, let's begin.

First of all: DRINK WATER.

I know that most of you already have heard about it but trust me,drinking plenty of water, does make a difference. A good amount of water is propably 8-10 glasses of water a day. Although, when it's really hot or when you exercise and sweat you will need even more. And I know that you will need to pee more often, but hey. Shiny hair, glowing complexion and a healthy body are only some of all the benefits. Isn't it worth the price?

Second: Eat fruit and vegetables.

Fruit and vegetables aren't only delicious but also offer you lots of vitamins, fibers and other nutritions that you need. 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day would be ideal. Bananas, melons, apples, peaches, grapes, oranges and carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, zucchinis etc are only some of the choices you have.

Third: Eat proteins.

You can find protein in nuts and seeds (without salt is the best solution),fish, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, yoghurt, cheese etc. Protein is used by our body for growth and maintenance. Proteins can be found in all cells of the body and are the major structural component of all cells in our body, especially muscle but body organs, hair, skin are also included. They are also used in membranes and to form blood cells.

Fourth: Exercise

Exercise doesn't only help you burn those calories but it also helps you tone your muscles, improve your body shape, boost your metabolism and make you happier and more energetic. 3 times a week for 30-40 minutes is good for starters. And you don't need to go to gym if you can' afford it. Even going for basketball with your friends or for a walk with your mum is considered as an exercise. As long as you keep moving.

Fifth: Sleep.

Enjoy your beauty sleep. Most of us don't get enough sleep which is 7-9 hours. During this time our body works to digest all of the foods that we consumed during the day and also our skin is being renewed. So,close the curtains and go to sleep early.

Sixth: Follow the 3:2 rule.

Which means eating 3 small meals and 2 healthy snacks. Eating 5 times a day is the best way to keep you metabolism working all day long. If you eat one or two times your metabolism slows down which means you don't burn enough calories and they're being stored as fat.

And now,it's time for the don'ts.

First: AVOID SUGAR.

Sugar is nothing but empty calories. It doesn't fill you at all and that's why you may eat a bar of milk chocolate and after five minutes be hungry again. The key isn't to never eat it. You can enjoy your favourite sweet but once a week is enough. That way you won't feel deprived but also won't harm your body and health.

Second: AVOID SODAS AND OTHER SUGARY DRINKS.

Sodas don't offer you nothing at all. They only contain sugar and plenty of conservatives Even the "light" ones are full of bad staff that could hurt you and your health. Prefer green tea and water instead.

Third: AVOID ALCOHOL.

Though alcohol affects every single organ, our liver is the most likely to face a problem because of it. Studies have shown that drinking too much alcohol increases the risk of cancer in the liver, pancreas, rectum, breast, mouth, pharynx, larynx and esophagus, raises blood pressure, blood lipids and increases the risk of stroke and heart disease, raises blood glucose, causes neuropathy and dementia; impairs balance and memory, causes anxiety, insomnia and many other health problems.

So,these are some of the things you should keep in mind if you want to become healthier and happier. Be positive,be healthy,be happy and always smile. Hope this post has helped you. See you guys.
